SEMINAR, by Pulitzer prize nominee Theresa Rebeck, is a provocative satire where writing becomes a contact sport.  Produced on Broadway in 2011-12, this fast, funny, biting comedy is "a fevered melange of envy, insecurity and intramural sexual desire." (ChicagoTribune)  In a master class four aspiring, fiercely competitive fiction writers, like "feral cats in heat,"  are led by an aging, international literary figure. This once celebrated novelist's unorthodox instruction confounds and challenges the gobbledygook often disguised as literary genius.  Amidst the sometimes vicious repartee in this cauldron of terror, just how much will the frustratingly unsung talents endure from a jaded old pro to realize their publishing dreams.
